Process FAQs
Processing times vary by program. Express Entry can take as little as 6 months from profile creation to PR. Family sponsorship typically takes 12-18 months. Study and work permits range from 4-16 weeks. During your strategy session, we provide a realistic timeline based on your specific case and current IRCC processing times.
During the consultation we discuss your immigration goals, review your basic eligibility, and recommend the best pathway forward. Document review and full case representation are provided under a signed Engagement Agreement.
An Engagement Agreement (also called a Retainer Agreement) is a formal contract required by the CICC before an RCIC can provide representation services. It outlines the scope of work, fees, timelines, responsibilities of both parties, and complaint procedures. This protects both you and the consultant and ensures transparency throughout the process.
