Professional Fees
Our rates and terms, published in full — confirmed in writing before any work begins
eBUDDY Immigration & Visa Services Inc. publishes its professional fees so that prospective clients can make an informed decision before engaging the practice. The fee for any matter is confirmed in a written retainer agreement, issued in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), before substantive work begins. No fee buys an outcome: decisions on applications rest solely with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.
Consultation Fees
Consultations are billed at the applicable hourly rate for the time booked, including 60-minute and 90-minute sessions.
| Consultation type | Clients outside Canada | Residents of Canada |
|---|---|---|
| Standard consultation | US$450 per hour | CAD $450 per hour, plus applicable taxes |
| Complex cases & IRB matters | US$550 per hour | CAD $550 per hour, plus applicable taxes |
Consultation fees are non-refundable. An appointment cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice is forfeited.
Fixed-Fee Product
Canada LaunchPro Blueprint — US$997. A 90-minute Business Immigration session that produces a written relocation blueprint for founders, owner-operators, and self-employed professionals. This is a fixed-fee product, not hourly billing. This is a single 90-minute blueprint session, not the full Canada LaunchPro program.
Secure Your Blueprint — US$997
Retainers for Full Representation
Fees for full representation on a file are quoted in writing after an initial assessment, based on the scope and complexity of the matter. Retainer payments may be made in installments over up to six months, with 30–50% due at signing. Financing through the practice is interest-free.
Not Included
Government processing fees (including IRCC, IRB, and provincial fees) and third-party disbursements — such as translations, medical examinations, police certificates, and courier charges — are not included in professional fees and are paid by the client. Applicable taxes are charged where required by law.
Sales Taxes
All professional fees are stated exclusive of sales taxes. For clients in Canada, GST or HST is added as a separate line on the invoice at the rate prescribed for the client’s province of residence: 5% GST in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, and the territories; 13% HST in Ontario; 14% HST in Nova Scotia; and 15% HST in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. British Columbia provincial sales tax (PST) does not apply to immigration consulting services. Services supplied to non-resident clients located outside Canada are zero-rated for GST/HST; a client who is in Canada at the time of service is taxed at the rate for the province where they are located.
