Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common Canadian immigration questions

A Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) is a professional licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), the Government of Canada's regulatory body. Only RCICs, lawyers, and notaries (in Quebec) are legally authorized to represent you in immigration matters. Using an RCIC ensures you receive qualified advice, your application is prepared correctly, and your representative is held to professional and ethical standards. Mohamed Aboud is a registered RCIC with CICC and authorized to represent clients before the IRB.

Express Entry is Canada's primary system for managing applications for permanent residence under three economic immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades (FST). Candidates create an online profile, receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, and enter the Express Entry pool. IRCC conducts regular draws, inviting the highest-scoring candidates to apply for permanent residence. The entire process can take as little as 6 months from invitation to PR.

Fees vary depending on the complexity of your case and the service required. Consultations are billed hourly: US$450 (standard) · US$550 (complex & IRB matters) for clients outside Canada; CAD $450 / $550 plus taxes for clients in Canada. Full representation fees are discussed during the consultation based on your specific case requirements. All fees are outlined in a transparent Engagement Agreement before any work begins.

Yes. Mohamed Aboud is authorized to represent clients before all four divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), including the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD). Whether you've received a refusal for sponsorship, PR, or any immigration application, we can assess your case, identify grounds for appeal, and represent you at hearings. Time-sensitive deadlines apply to most appeals, so it's important to contact us as soon as possible after a refusal.

Mohamed Aboud provides immigration consulting services in English, French, and Arabic. This allows us to serve clients from a wide range of backgrounds and ensure nothing is lost in translation during the application process. All official documentation and submissions are prepared in English or French as required by IRCC.
